Hello Fellow Adventurer!
By day I'm a developer in Toronto, and by night I'm a Front-End/UX Consultant. I also play guitar, point my camera at things, and go on adventures with my dog, Olive. Check out the sections, below if you'd like to get to know me better.

Work
As a consultant I've provided numerous companies and start-ups, advice, wireframes, and even helped code their front-ends, while ensuring that their ideas translate properly and efficiently to their users.
It can be easy to overlook some basic UX fundamentals when coding and designing from the ground up. Don't worry, I'm here to help.
Recommendations
Yuhiro was a great help with his contribution to the user experience on eleQted.com. I had found myself at the limit of my talents in UX, but I knew it needed more refining.
Yuhiro was professional and methodical in his review and suggestions. His eye for design and usability directly translated to a much more user-friendly design.
I have had several people give me positive feedback on the design and responsiveness of eleQted, and that extra mile of refinement they're talking about is a result of Yuhiro's impeccable talent.
Yuhiro has provided UX consulting services for us on two projects, and both times he has brought an insight and passion for user experience that was much needed.
As a backend developer, I was particularly thankful for his attention to the little things;
small touches that greatly improved the usability of the app in subtle ways I had overlooked.
We received extremely positive feedback from both clients after incorporating Yuhiro's improvements and releasing them.
I would highly recommend Yuhiro's services to anyone who is looking to improve the look and feel, usability, or overall user experience of their apps.
His extensive background in software consulting means that he can hit the ground running and make an immediate contribution to your project,
regardless of the business logic behind it.
I had the opportunity to work with Yuhiro at Indellient Inc. During his time he helped support a critical client with ongoing services, involved with product development and took on administration duties within the company. I am most familiar with his work with the critical client where we were direct colleagues. The responsibilities were not limited to a set of job tasks or technologies. It involved maintaining a custom application system with a database backend and multiple front ends including application specific interfaces, public websites and private web interfaces. The users of the system are worldwide and number over 750 K.
One of the best qualities I found with Yuhiro is his dedication in ensuring a high quality of work. If there was a client satisfaction issue or a system issue, it was never a question or an ask to keep focus regardless if it means staying late or shifting priorities. This enables him to be an independent co-worker in the sense of not needing to micro-managed.
If you are considering working with Yuhiro (as a hire, colleague or contractor), I recommend him and he will be a value add.
